Federal GSA Capture with HPE — Alttrix
The work
At Alttrix I led capture and commercial execution on a federal hardware-and-services contract with GSA Science & Technology. The opportunity was identified on SAM.gov and other government procurement boards. We could not prime the technical and contractual requirement alone. We selected Hewlett Packard Enterprise as the alliance partner because it fit the vehicle.
My role
- Found and qualified the opportunity on official government procurement sites.
- Chose HPE as the alliance partner and aligned the joint response.
- Led a seven-person Alttrix + HPE team from solicitation response through statements of work and implementation.
- Stayed on the account after award so manufacturer, channel, and customer did not drift apart.
Facts
- Customer context: U.S. Federal — GSA Science & Technology
- Partners: Alttrix (ATX) and HPE
- Period: August 2021 – June 2024
- Contract value: $15 million hardware and services
- Outcomes recorded on the program: 25% year-over-year efficiency, $1.3 million per month in cost reduction, 15% less waste on DoAs, RMAs, and delayed shipments
This is firsthand capture and delivery work, not a product brochure: find the vehicle, pick the partner that can pass procurement, close the paper, and stay through stand-up.
